Welcome to Perth Canine Remedial Massage Therapy

What is Canine Massage Therapy?

Canine massage therapy is a holistic approach to improving dogs' physical and mental well-being through hands-on, therapeutic touch.
Dogs benefit from massage similarly to humans, experiencing relief from:

  • Muscle tension

  • Stress

  • Anxiety

  • Joint pain

The Benefits:

Relaxation and Stress Relief
Massage therapy promotes relaxation by releasing endorphins, reducing muscle tension, and calming the nervous system.
It’s especially beneficial for dogs who have experienced trauma or suffer from separation anxiety.

Improved Circulation and Flexibility
Regular massage increases blood flow, delivering essential nutrients and oxygen to muscles.
This reduces inflammation, promotes tissue repair, and enhances mobility, whether your dog is an agility champion or enjoys a leisurely stroll.

Pain Management and Rehabilitation
Canine massage therapy targets specific areas to relieve pain and enhance the body's natural healing process. It is valuable for rehabilitation, improving range of motion, and reducing scar tissue formation.

Strengthening the Human-Canine Bond
Massage sessions provide an opportunity for deep connection and trust-building between you and your dog. Learning the art of touch makes you attuned to their body language, responsiveness, and preferences, leading to a stronger bond and a more harmonious relationship.
